Dear Juergen Boos,

Ukrainian publishers are grateful for the support you have provided to them for the third consecutive year, including the booth and other assistance. Among the important issues for us is the prohibition against Russian publishers, who support the war through their taxes, from participating in the Frankfurt Book Fair. Unfortunately, this year we have seen the booths of five Russian publishing houses that endorse the war in the exhibition's electronic catalog. This situation is gaining attention in Ukraine, and for the members of the Ukrainian Association of Publishers and Book Distributors, it is crucial to know whether the reduction of sanctions against Russians is a conscious stance of the German Book Trade Association and the Frankfurt Book Fair.
