Dear colleagues, friends!

Today, among our fellow citizens there are those who are actually waging an information and propaganda war on the side of the enemy, continuing his policy of aggressor and colonizer in Ukraine.

After the start of the war and the cessation of direct deliveries of Russian-made books to Ukraine, they established the illegal production and distribution of counterfeit copies of the works of authors who are citizens of the Russian Federation on the territory of our country, thereby dealing a blow to the political and social stability of Ukrainian society and destroying legal domestic book publishing.

This process should have been put to an end by Law N 7459 "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Establishment of Restrictions on the Import and Distribution of Publishing Products Concerning the Aggressor State, the Republic of Belarus, and the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine", voted by the constitutional majority of the Verkhovna Rada back in June.

However, in violation of the Constitution of Ukraine, this draft law has not yet been signed by the President of Ukraine.

In this regard, I am asking you to sign a petition to the President of Ukraine demanding that he immediately sign Law No. 7459.
